It is with great excitement that the SRGC executive has decided to offer a trial run for the Fall session. We will run a 4 week program. Members from the Winter session will have access to those classes 1st. Registration for members only will Close on Nov. 7th. Any remaining spots will be offered to the public starting Nov. 8th. Registration will remain open until Nov. 12th.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome Colby Robbins to our club for this 4 week Trial. She will be offering Yoga at the gym until her space is ready. For every Student that registers, she will donate $10 back to the club. Registration will be available through Uplifter.
The AGM is set for Nov. 16th at 7pm. To attend the AGM, you will be required to register. This is required to make sure our space is adequately prepared for the amount of people coming. To register: click register, add program. Select AGM and add to your cart.

Important Changes:
Covid-19
The club is currently working on new guidelines and protocols to deal with Covid-19. Like many organizations finding the right balance between keeping everyone safe and offering a Full program is a challenge. We ask that you all be patient, keep in mind that the board is a volunteer board, and that nothing is written in stone. Being flexible, understanding and having open communication with coaches, board members and other families will allow us to continue to improve the program and the safety of everyone participating.
Class Sessions
Due to the unusual circumstances we find ourselves with Covid-19 it was decided that we would try a 4 week trial run. This opportunity will allow us to assess what worked and what didn't and make those changes to our next session.
There is an opportunity for those families who chose on line learning for some type of movement classes on Thursdays. Please reach out to Manon to see if we can work something out.
SRGC Programs
All classes will be co-ed. Our goal is to ensure that every child is able to participate in any of our programs in a fun and recreational environment. The club will do its due diligence to make sure every opportunity is given to every child.
Volunteering
SRGC strongly relies on its gymnastics community to help our club succeed.
This year more than ever we WILL need everyone to help out at all levels. We will be returning to daily cleaning. Cleaning Charts will be adjusted to reflect new protocols. If YOU register, YOU will be required to help. If you don't show up to your appointed task whether it be cleaning, Charge parent or equipment movement, you may not be able to register in the next session.

How to Register
Registration will be accepted online at smokyrivergc.uplifterinc.com.
Any Student returning to this 4 week trial from the Winter session will have their registration fee waived. Once you are registered, our admin will adjust your invoice accordingly. If you register for more than the classes from the winter, you will need to pay for those classes.
We look forward to offering the same classes as the winter session, except Flippin Fun. We have added a 4 week class on Handstands and Yoga.
Registration will be open to our Winter members only until Nov. 7th. Please register even if the class is full. Once classes are full, we will open new classes. On Nov. 7th we will close member registration, evaluate our classes and drop classes that do not meet our enrollment requirements. We will then reopen registration on the 8th so that new families and past members can enroll with SRGC. Registration will close on Nov. 12th. Evaluation of our classes will take place and any classes not meeting enrollment requirements will be dropped.
If you are registering in our priority registration(Nov. 2-7th), please do not pay anything until admin has adjusted your invoice and resubmitted it to you with your new owing amount. :) Member Invoices will be updated on Nov. 8th.
Fees must be paid by Nov. 12th. Any Participant that has unpaid fees by that date will be removed from the program and that spot filled with the 1st person on the waitlist. If you need to make arrangements, please do so by contacting the treasurer: kburlock@gmail.com
If your child has special requirements, Please call Manon to discuss the requirements. Our goal is to accommodate everyone but it may/can happen that coaches, space and equipment limitations will not allow for us to accept your registration. Please look over the Covid-19 Guidelines set by the club to make sure they meet your child's needs before registering.
Multiple Program Discounts
Should your gymnast wish to enroll in more than one program per session the cost will be the price of the most expensive class plus $40 per class for every additional class. Due to the multi program discount we will no longer be offering the family member discount.
